HERITAGE VOLUNTEERING

Protecting and preserving our heritage for future generations

The Arts Society Kennet and Swindon Heritage Volunteers have been involved with numerous projects over many years.

Current projects:

St. Mary's Church, Lydiart Park, Swindon. The volunteering are activiely involved in guiding visitors to this exquisite church which has historically important wall paintings which have recently been restored.  

Merchants House, Marlborough - volunteers have been involved in many restoration projects at this important 17thC silk merchants house.

St. Giles House, Dorset - volunteers from several societies have been involved for many years working in the library of this important house which dates back to the 13thC.
