A love of the arts lasts a lifetime

Our Wessex Connected events, both online and in the venue, are open to everyone, whether or not they are members of The Arts Society.

The study courses provide an opportunity to look at subjects in more depth than is often possible at a society lecture, encouraging discussion and a chance to explore new ways of looking at art.

The speakers at the study courses are all accredited Arts Society lecturers who are experts in their particular subjects.

Our events in the south of Wessex Area are held in the delightful Cerne Abbas Village Hall, Dorset DT2 7GY.  We may offer these courses online in the future if a suitable technician is found.

For everyone in the venue, they will be offered a light lunch, with wine or soft drinks. Coffee and tea plus delicious home-baked bisuits are served at the coffee break.
